Community Summary:
Headwaters is a new community located in Dripping Springs celebrating natural beauty, stewardship and outdoor living. It’s ranch life, re-imagined.
Responsibilities
The Lifestyle Director manages resident programs and events for the homeowner’s association. The activities are entertainment designed for quality of life and enhance the community’s vibrancy. This position will also provide administrative and project support to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist other departments as directed by Community Association Manager (ie. daily incoming
phone call support). Cross-train on administrative functions and overall HOA policies, procedures
& rules to support the administrative office during staff vacations and sick days.
- Develop a budget for community events.
- Responsible for the overall management and execution of all community events
- Ensure events are advertised, deposits paid, vendors scheduled.
- Coordinate resident programs, classes, and smaller recurring touchpoints that are calendared between the communities ‘more significant events.
- Oversee the programming and scheduling of all Community facilities, amenities, and parks.
- Coordinate the collection of any fees for event attendance, if applicable
- Returns all phone calls regarding amenity and event inquiries within 24 hours
- Promotes the Community newsletter, public relations, and marketing publications as assigned- to include any association website or social media
- Develop and promote an active volunteer program among residents.
- Always provides excellent customer service to all members and guests.
- Responds to all inquiries and provides other supportive services as necessary; answers telephone calls, responds to written and email communication and contacts members and guests.
- Provides administrative and project support to the General Manager as required. Assists the General Manager in establishing policies and procedures for administrative operations.
- Plus other work related tasks as needed
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in coordinating and promoting recreational activities for a community or town or center.
- Community Association experience preferred HOA, POA or COA
- Competence with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with Constant Contact and Canva
- Exceptional written communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Must possess initiative, good attitude, cooperation, good judgment, and discretion.
- Hours for this position sometimes include evenings and weekends when events are scheduled. The Lifestyle Director is required to be onsite during events.
Pay and Benefits:
$62,000 to $68,000, depending on education and experience.
